Homeschool Travel
Terms & Conditions of Travel
(You may want to print this Document for your records)

Read the Document carefully. It is a contract between the traveler(s) and Homeschool Travel, hereafter referred to as the Company.

PASSPORT & VISA INFORMATION

All travelers are required to have a passport valid for six months after their return to their home country. This is Israeli law. Currently visas are not required for U.S. and Canadian citizens.

It is each traveler’s responsibility to obtain his or her required passport. Do not put off applying for your passports as recent laws have slowed the process of obtaining a U.S. passport! Visa requirements vary according to the nationality of the passport holder. For travelers who are not U.S. or Canadian citizens, please consult a visa service company or the embassy of your destination country for visa requirements. Visa requirements and charges are subject to change. The Company is not responsible for the refusal of visas by consular offices and normal cancellation charges will apply. Applications received less than 14 business days before departure may require extra fees.

PAYMENT PROCEDURES

You may pay by bank wire transfer. For security purposes we will contact you by phone with our bank routing number.

INSURANCE INFORMATION

We do not offer Trip Cancellation Insurance or Medical Insurance for travelers; however both are available in the event you are concerned that you might have to cancel your trip or need medical care while abroad. You may find insurance carriers online. We have used Wallach & Company (www.wallach.com) in the past and have been pleased with their service. The Company does not receive benefit from supplying this information.

CANCELLATION POLICY
  • The $300.00 per person deposit is non-refundable.
  • Thirty (30) days prior to the departure date, no refund will be made for the price of the land portion per space.
  • All claims for refunds must be received in writing within 30 days of the group’s scheduled return. Unused tour features are non-refundable.
IF THE TOUR OPERATOR CANCELS

Should the Company cancel for any reason, your money will be fully refunded.

CHANGES IN LAND, ITINERARY OR HOTEL ACCOMMODATIONS

The Company will make every effort to operate the land itinerary as disclosed. However, circumstances may arise which would require an adjustment to the program and/or accommodations. We will do all that is possible to avoid such changes, but we must reserve the right to make such modifications if they are deemed necessary.

SMOKING POLICY

There is a no smoking policy on all motor coaches. There may be places where smoking is allowed at times when you are off the motor coach.

BAGGAGE

Airline baggage allowances vary by carrier, but usually are based on a weight and/or measurement system. Weight allowances vary by carrier. Specific questions regarding check-in and carry-on baggage limitations should be addressed directly to the specific airline being used.

TRAVELERS REQUIRING SPECIAL ASSISTANCE

At the time reservations are made, please tell The Company of any disability requiring special attention. The Company will make reasonable attempts to accommodate the special needs of such travelers, but it cannot be responsible for any denial of services by carriers, hotels, and other independent suppliers. We regret that we cannot provide individual assistance to a member for walking, dining, getting on and off the motor coaches and other transportation vehicles, or other personal needs. Travelers who need such assistance should be accompanied by a qualified companion.

RESPONSIBILITY

The Company operates this program solely as an independent contractor. The tour services outlined herein, including, without limitation, transportation, lodging, and sightseeing, are provided by the carrier, hoteliers, and other suppliers that are independent contractors and not agents for employees, partners, or joint ventures of the Company.
